Since February of 2012, IHNGC has operated the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program which is funded primarily through HUD. The PSH program places families who have a member with a disabling physical or mental health condition and a history of chronic homelessness, directly from shelter into scattered site housing. Through provision of on-going rental support and case management, these families are able to connect with the long-term services needed to appropriately address the disability, as well as work towards greater over all stability and independence. The program can serve up to 46 families at a time.
