Brian Kershner
Brian appreciates the opportunity to serve the mission of IHN and the long partnerships with the faith community in Greater Cincinnati. Brian has served with the IHN board for over four years. He and his wife, Missi, just celebrated 22 years of marriage. They live happily with their four children in Amberley Village. Brian is a partner at R.J. Beischel Building Co.

Whayne Herriford
Whayne Herriford is a practicing mental health clinician in Ohio and Kentucky, having recently retired from a 35 year career as an HR professional. He also consults with organizations on diversity, equity and inclusion related projects. He lives in Bellevue with his partner Troy and their two dogs, Skylar and Lola.

Brittany Larrison
Brittany became connected with IHN through her employer, Woodforest National Bank in 2014, and has served on a Committee or on the Board ever since. She has been married to her husband, Chris for 15 years. They share 3 children, Sebastian, Breckin, and Gabriella and live in Clermont County.

Scott Deters

Dr. Esly S. Caldwell, II, MD, MPH
Esly Caldwell is a semiretired physician who has been involved in IHN for about 25 years at a church. He helps his wife, a coordinator for a host church. They came to Cincinnati in 1978 and have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Michael Davis

Ben Green
Ben grew up in rural Michigan, and moved to Cincinnati in 2007. He attended the University of Cincinnati, majoring in social work and eventually went on to get my Master’s of Social Work. His most recent work has been at Interfaith Hospitality Network, where he worked as the After Care Case manager for 4.5 years. He’s married and has two children, and is now a stay at home dad.

Chara Fisher Jackson, MS, JD
Chara Fisher Jackson has a track record of leading mission-driven initiatives, increasing organizational visibility, and convening communities around issues of equity. She has expanded the value of her law degree to become the Executive Director & CEO of Cincinnati Preschool Promise. As a dedicated and seasoned attorney, she took the helm of the organization using her broad network and extensive business acumen to forge alliances for Cincinnati‘s betterment. Her passion for youth, parents’ rights, and equity are why she leads Cincinnati Preschool Promise.

Andrew Kiley
Andrew is an accomplished marketing professional with vast experience in brand building, strategic planning, execution, measurement, and optimization.
At IHN, Andrew chairs the development and communications committee, co-planning key fundraising events and offering marketing counsel.
Andrew and his husband spend their spare time renovating their historic home in North Avondale and caring for their super-sized mastiff puppy named Harvey.

Myra McDonald

Jeff Smith
Jeff Smith received his Ph.D. in German Literature from UC. He has taught German, worked in industry as technical product manager for a German company, and is a freelance translator. Prison reform and animal welfare are his primary activist interests.

Marvin Frank Thomas, Sr.
Bishop Marvin Frank Thomas, Sr. is the 62nd bishop of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and the presiding bishop of the Second Episcopal District (states of Ohio, Kentucky, Central and Southern Indiana, and Pittsburgh). He holds degrees from Stillman College (Tuscaloosa, AL), the Phillips School of Theology at the Interdenominational Theological Center (Atlanta, GA), and the United Theological Seminary (Dayton, OH). He has pastored in the states of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, and Ohio. He presently serves on the following boards: Lane College, Phillips School of Theology (vice-chair), The Interdenominational Theological Center, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, and the NAACP (national board of directors). Bishop Thomas has two adult children, Kourtney Lea Thomas and Marvin Frank Thomas, Jr., and one grandson, Kameron.
